WILL I EVER BE THAT GOOD AGAIN?

📖 James 4:10 “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”

I am pretty sure we have all messed up somewhere in our lives, right? Not just a little “oopsie” or white lie, but a big-time problem that seemed utterly unfixable. A glass-shattering moment that feels like nothing will ever be the same again. The normal human instinct is to immediately try and fix it alone before someone sees your mistake. There is only one problem here: pride. 

Often our pride keeps us from seeking help, making us act like a flock of lost sheep running in circles. Luckily for us, one of the Lord’s names is YAHWEH-M’KADDESH: the Lord who sanctifies. As long as we turn humbly to God, His open arms will always await us eagerly, ready to forgive and forget our every sin.

📌  Don’t compare yourself with who you were before you made that mistake; God invites you into a new future!

🙏 Prayer: Father God, thank You so much for the forgiveness that You offer every day. Thank You for giving me unconditional love, no matter how far I stray away from You. Please help me to turn to You as a first resort whenever I do something wrong, and to abide in Your guidance. Amen.
