📖 1 John 4:8 “…God is love.”
In the modern age, studies have shown that teenagers feel so much pressure to fit in all areas of society, especially on social media, in schools, and in friend groups. Sometimes this pressure can lead you and mislead you to do the wrong things that will cause more harm to yourself.
I have learned in my life that the people you surround yourself with influence you. It is important to ask God who the friends are that you should keep in your life and who you should keep at a distance. No friend group can give you the feeling of acceptance that you are looking for – only God can do that.
📌 Seek God’s love, rather than the world’s pleasures.
🙏 Prayer: Jesus, thank You for loving me even in my faults. Show me Your love today and fill me with Your love so that I can love others well. Help me to stand strong against the pressure to fit in; my identity is found in You alone! Amen.
🔥 Challenge: Ask God to search your heart and show you the areas where you tried to fit in that are not His will for your life. Lay those things down at Jesus’ feet and ask Him to show you His great love for you. Use p.12 of the latest workbook as a prompt for this.
