GRACE ABOUNDS

📖 Romans 3:23-24 “For everyone has sinned…Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. ”

This verse uses the words: “for everyone”. Are you part of the “everyone” that is not living for God’s glory? Welcome to the club. Despite your bad behaviour, God STILL shows you grace. He frees you, declaring you not guilty. 

Just as you sometimes hurt God, so do other people hurt you. Why do you not free them from your judgment? We often tell ourselves: “I want to hurt them just like they hurt me – that will be justice!” God still frees you and shows you mercy even when you do not deserve it. As a child of God, you must do the same to others – show mercy.

📌 God’s big mercy cleanses me and declares me not guilty.

🙏 Prayer: Dear Lord, I am thinking of all the horrible stuff I have thought and done. I feel ashamed of my behaviour and of how I have let You down, Lord. Thank You for showing me grace. Help me also be graceful to those who hurt and disappoint me. Amen.

🔥 Challenge: Write down everything God has freed you from. Go show mercy to those who have wronged you and free them as God has freed you.
