📖 Psalm 139:1 “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.”
Does it make you uncomfortable? The idea that you cannot hide anything from God? The words or thoughts you conceal from people are as plain as daylight before the Lord. He knows your secrets. What shames or frightens you cannot surprise God. Perhaps you think people will be shocked or disappointed when they discover what you have done, thought, or said… and that God will feel the same?
As children of God, we are continually invited to come to the Lord just as we are. No pretending, no long explanations about what we have or have not done.
📌 The Lord knows your whole story; after all, the Lord God is your Creator.
🙏 Prayer: Lord, it is good that You know everything about me. I come to You just as I am. Help me to let go of what is harmful to me. Open my eyes to see the beauty around me, and may I choose today to do what pleases Your heart! Amen.
