📖Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Imagine yourself as part of a war and busy fighting for survival. On one side are your parents you are fighting against, on the other side are teachers and friends, and then all these many questions you are struggling with! You become distressed and see only problems, disappointments and worries wherever you look. Which way to go now?
Stop! Take a deep breath and become still …
Today’s verse promises that God is with you. No matter what, He will fight for you if you take refuge in Him! Isaiah 30:15 also says this: “Your strength lies in your quiet trust in Me.”
📌 Be still and trust in God.
🙏 Prayer: Lord Jesus, please teach me to be still before You and to trust only in You. I cannot win this daily war on my own, but with You I see a chance for everything! Amen.
🔥 Challenge: Go and see how God has prepared you to stand strong on p. 17 of your workbook. Then go and write in your own words something about yourself next to each piece of the armor of faith. Stick it on your closet or on your mirror and remind yourself daily that God is fighting for you!
