📖 Hebrews 4:16 “’Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.’
In Matthew 7:7-8 the Bible says God will give us the things we ask for. This verse says a lot about our approach to God and whether or not He hears our prayers. This scripture tells us clearly: God does listen and He does answer. So why does it not always seem that way?
We sometimes might think God isn’t listening. But perhaps the things we ask for do not glorify God, they are all about ourselves. God also does not always answer our prayers with immediate effect. We need to invite Him to show us what He thinks about the things we’re praying for and how it fits into His great big plan.
📌 You can approach God with bold prayers, because He DOES listen!
🙏 Prayer: Our Father in heaven, I ask You to help me hear You and feel Your presence. I pray that You open my ears for me to hear Your voice. Thank you Jesus, Amen.
🔥 Challenge: Write down the things you pray about in a list, and tick them off one by one when God answers them – because He will!
