📖 James 1:12 “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because… that person will receive the crown of life...”
Bad memories can sneak up when we least expect them. They remind us of pain, failure, or fear we wish we could erase. But God sees every part of our story – even the hard and difficult chapters. He does not “waste” our pain; He uses it to shape us into a redeemed picture of His beautiful grace.
What once broke us can build us with His healing power. Your past does not define you; God does. Let Him turn the bad memory into a testimony of His love. Consider asking Jesus: “Where were You in this moment? Why did You feel so far?” The truth is that He never left your side!
📌 God can turn your pain into purpose.
🙏 Prayer: Lord, help me not to get stuck in the pain of the past. Use my hard memories to grow my faith and bring healing. Remind me that You are making something beautiful in me, even through it hurts. Amen.
🔥 Challenge: Write down one bad memory, then write down how God might have used it to help you or someone else. Print out page 11 of our latest workbook and send us a photo when you’ve completed it:
