You belong in God’s family

💭 Reflect
Once you accept Jesus’ invitation to be the light on your life’s path, He gives you the right to become part of God’s family. Isn’t it wonderful to be able to say now, “I am part of God’s family”? You are now part of a BIG family of brothers and sisters who all serve the Lord together.

📖 John 1:12
“To all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.”

❔ Questions

• Do you realise that God is your loving Father because Jesus made you part of His family?
• Is there perhaps a lonely friend who needs to hear that they also belong in God’s family?

Dear Jesus, thank You for _____ me part of Father God’s ______. Help me to ______ forget it and also to reach out to ______ when they need Your ________. Amen.

📢 Identity statement
Say it out loud: “I am part of God’s family.”

🎨 Respond
Every time you feel sad or lonely today, look in the mirror and say it again: “I am part of God’s family.”

🤳Social media
Share a photo today of your real (earthly) family and then a Bible verse showing that you’re also part of a heavenly family.

👥 People
You can make a difference today by inviting others who may feel alone to become part of God’s family as well and telling them about Jesus. It’s nice to belong.
