As we continue to read 2 Corinthians 12, we see that Paul had every reason to boast. If the people wanted him to tell them why he made a good leader, he could do it – but he’d rather not. The other leaders shone the light on themselves, but Paul said he would only shine the light on Jesus.
📖 “So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” – 2 Cor 12:9-10
🙏 Let’s Pray: Jesus, I want to be like Paul and not rely on my own strong points. God, I want You to be the BIGGEST thing that people see when they look at my life. Holy Spirit, will You remind me that I am made to shine Your light and not my own? Amen.

We’re not reading just 1 verse and moving on. We’ll spend some more time standing still in this chapter and allowing the Holy Spirit to fill us with more wisdom and understanding as we read on.
