📖 Colossians 3:13 “Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Unforgiveness is like drinking the poison yourself, leaning back, and waiting for the other person to die. It is like a cancer that eats away at you, it makes you bitter and drives a wedge between you and God. It is never easy to forgive, and sometimes someone has hurt you deeply, but if you ask God to help you, He will.
In Matthew 18:22, Jesus says, “Not seven times, but seventy times seven times.” This means you must forgive someone 490 times for their mistakes. Why? Because that is what God expects of us. How many times has God already forgiven you for things that hurt and grieved His heart?
📌 Forgiveness breaks the chains around your heart and helps you to live fully again!
🙏 Prayer: Lord Jesus, please help me today to forgive the people who have sinned against me and hurt me. Remove all the poison of bitterness from my life. Thank You, Lord. Amen.
🔥 Challenge: Go and make a list of all the people who have hurt you. Pray for each of them and ask Jesus to help you forgive every one of them. Jesus is waiting for you; He wants to help and heal you — just give Him the chance!
