The Bible feels hard to understand sometimes, but it is a wonderful book to read as a whole. From the very beginning, God has been speaking to people, strengthening them, and leading them by His Word. The Bible is a collection of life stories for Christians based on real people who witness God’s goodness. It is full of God’s promises, from Genesis to Revelation. God is just as faithful today as He was thousands of years ago!

📖 Galatians 3:17
“The agreement God made with Abraham could not be canceled 430 years later when God gave the law to Moses. God would be breaking his promise.”

❔ Questions

• Today’s verse shows us that Abraham’s agreement and Moses’ law echo the same promise. So, does God ever change His promises?
• If you read today’s verse, in which books of the Bible can you also read about Abraham and about Moses to understand it all better?
• Can you think of someone who will be delighted to hear that everything in the Bible is connected to each other? Send the message to them.

Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me an instruction manual, the _______, so that I can know precisely what Your promises is, and that You never __________. Thank You also for all the wonderful ___________ in the Bible. Amen.

📢 Identity statement
Say it out loud: “I can trust God’s promises.”

🎨 Respond
Look up a few of God’s promises in the Bible that are true about you. Write them down on a sticky note and put it up somewhere where you’ll see it daily. You can also write them on a piece of paper, fold it, and place it inside your shoe. So you are physically standing on God’s promises!

🤳Social media
Read God’s promise to Abraham in Genesis and take a photo of your Bible, a cup of coffee and a candle to share on social media.

👥 People
Can you help someone younger to understand that the whole Bible tells God’s big story? Chat with a younger sibling, a friend in a younger grade, or a younger child at youth or church and explain to them that the same promises of God are true on every page of the Bible.

This month’s Scripture is = Galatians 3

Read the rest of the chapter today and notice:

• The Old Testament is full of laws that people had to obey to live close to God. In Galatians, Paul writes that it’s no longer necessary to obey all these laws, since Jesus died on the cross for us and so took our sins upon Himself.
• The Old Testament is full of promises that became fulfilled in the New Testament. Go read up a bit about these promises.
• It’s necessary to read the whole Bible to understand what happened in the Old and New Testaments. Make a roster for yourself and read a piece each day, making notes of what you read, and asking the Holy Spirit to help you understand. Enjoy the journey through the Bible!
