To many of us, the Holy Spirit is a strange concept. Almost like something spooky causing you to do things you don’t want to do. We forget that making our decisions independently is very important to God. He will never force Himself upon us.
Jesus was filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The good things we try to do and cannot manage on our own, Jesus managed by using the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit. He enjoyed being filled with the Holy Spirit!
Since the beginning, Jesus’s goal was for us to become like Him and to make it easier for us the Holy Spirit stayed behind for us. The Holy Spirit can only bring about in you what you allow Him to. He can take away your heaviness and make you gleam with joy. He can show you what to let go and lead you closer to God. He can bring about that wrong things will look less enticing to you, and you will start desiring to do the things that glorify God. He can give your feet wings and cause you only to share God’s love with the people around you. He makes things possible that you could never have dreamt of being possible.
But you must invite Him into your life. You alone can decide to what extent you want Him to be present in your life.
The Holy Spirit Makes You Bubbly. If You Allow It.

Challenge: Write down who you think the Holy Spirit is and what He is like. Find verses in the Bible about the Holy Spirit and decide if the way you think of Him is according to what the Bible says.
