”When people make promises, they guarantee them by appeal to some authority above them so that if there is any question that they’ll make good on the promise, the authority will back them up. When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee—God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go. It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken us…” – Hebrews 6:16-19
God’s Word is His will, so praying God’s Word aligns our prayers with His divine purpose. The Word teaches us that when we pray according to God’s will, He will answer our prayers.
1 John 5:14-15 says
“And how bold and free we then become in His presence, freely asking according to His will, sure that He’s listening. And if we’re confident that He’s listening, we know that what we’ve asked for is as good as ours.”
God’s Word is powerful and contains wonderful promises for us who believe in Him! These promises cover every aspect of life, including healing, rescue, or deliverance.
When God has made a promise, you can rely on it, because God is faithful! Therefore, we can confidently pray these promises from God’s Word, because we can be assured that God will fulfil His promises.
