Another hot topic that can soon burn you is drugs. When we hear the word drugs a picture of a druggie lying on a sidewalk with a bunch of pills sown around pops up. But drugs come to man in many different guises.
So, cigarettes, drinks and a slice of daddy salad or as the guys in the Cape say, ape-tobacco, turn up under our noses. And we are curious and just want to know what it feels like. One sip won’t make anything? One draw will not set fire to a fire?
Maybe it’s a nice feeling, but this is where you get trapped and before you know it, you’re hooked for life. And overcoming addiction is a long and difficult process. Some can never live without it again.
There’s a dude who doesn’t want us to live within God’s will and he’ll sneakily hide his traps for you to step into. Be wide-awake! Expect it and be prepared to jump over the challenges.
Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to this and ask Him to help you not to touch these temptations on your way. With the power of the Holy Spirit, you can walk a path of victory, every day!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, Holy Spirit, I want to live within Your will. Help me to be aware and not surrender to temptations. Amen.
Challenge: Sit down somewhere on a stone and go write your motto down about sex and drugs and where you draw the line. Then also write down your prayer inviting the Holy Spirit to come and help you.
