Prayer For Tired Teens

‘When He went back to the disciples, He found them asleep. He said to Peter, “Couldn’t you stay awake with Me for one hour? Stay awake and pray that you won’t be tempted. You want to do what’s right, but you’re weak.”’ – Matthew 26:40-41

We’ve all been there: you set aside time to pray with God, but you feel physically drained and unable to concentrate. It can be tough to connect with God when you’re exhausted, and it’s not just school and activities that causes this tiredness. Emotions like unhappiness, failed relationships, boredom, and frustration can also affect your prayer life.

But Jesus knew the importance of prayer, even when tired or troubled. He relied on prayer to build him up and strengthen him. So, when you’re feeling worn out or upset, remember to talk to God out loud or read a prayer from the Bible. Try to make time for prayer early in the morning before your day gets hectic.

Starting and ending your day with prayer can help you stay connected to God and strengthen your relationship. Remember, prayer is as important as the air you breathe!

Prayer For Tired Teens

Prayer: Dear Lord, sometimes the busyness of life makes it hard for me to focus on prayer. Please help me overcome this weakness through my love for You and committing to a regular prayer practice. Strengthen my relationship with You and help me grow closer to You daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge: Find four prayers in the Bible. Write them down on colorful paper using a black pen. Then, ask God to guide you in sharing these prayers with someone He wants you to help. This way, you can use your newfound prayer skills to bless others and grow your faith.
