💭 Reflect
Trust completely in the Lord with your whole heart. He is sitting next to you and you are on the roadtrip with Jesus. Don’t only rely on your own direction markers. Jesus sees further than the following turn. Know Him in every kilometre of your journey, every stop, and every decision. Then Jesus Himself will make the rest of your road smooth, straight, and even.

📖 Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

❔ Questions

• In which area of your life are you trying to hold the steering wheel yourself instead of trusting in Jesus? What might it look like to loosen your grip and give over to Him?
• If your life is a roadtrip, how can you involve Jesus more in the decisions you make?
• Who in your friend group could join you for this faith-roadtrip?

🙏 Talk to God
Complete the open spaces and pray in your own words: Lord, teach me to trust You with my whole ________, not to depend on my own _________, and to know You in every __________ so that my life’s road can be straight. Amen.

📢 Identity statement
Say it out loud: “I am open to God’s leading.”

🎨 Respond
Draw a route map and write on it four places where you need to make a choice about for instance, school, social media, friends, and parents. Then leave your plans behind and pray that God will lead you.

🤳Social media
Take a photo or short video where you are on your way – it can be when you’re walking or in a car. Caption it: Sometimes I try to drive myself but Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds me to trust God.

👥 People
If you catch yourself talking about stress with your parents or friends, stop and try a different perspective. “There is a lot to be worried about, but let’s choose to trust in God. He will make our path straight if we know Him in all our decisions.”
