Zechariah 4:6 MSG “You can’t force these things. They only come about through my Spirit,’ says God-of-the-Angel-Armies.”
Sometimes, it can feel like life is mundane. Usually, around this time of the year, we have drifted away from our New Year’s resolutions and any illusions we had that ‘this year will be different’. That’s the unfortunate effect of the passing of time and the struggles of everyday life.
But that doesn’t have to be the end of the story!
Today’s Bible verse reminds us that the answer is not just to push harder, force, hustle, or grind. (No matter what the world says!) The Holy Spirit of God moves differently.
Lay down your weapons and invite the Spirit to lead you.
Prayer: Dear God, help me put my TRUST in You through all the things that happen in my life, and for You to be my foundation in everything I do. Thank you for laying down Your life for me. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.
Challenge: Stop sleepwalking today! Invite God to wake you up to the fullness of life that you can access by His Holy Spirit who lives in you.
