“He heals the broken-hearted and bandages their wounds.” – Psalm 147:3
Family divisions can bring a great deal of sadness. They steal opportunities for family time, and none of these situations are enjoyable. But what can you actually do to change that?
Everyone’s home circumstances are unique, but one thing remains constant: God is in control and knows the heart of every person. When divisions arise, you can pray to God and ask Him for reconciliation within the family. However, there’s a deeper dimension to consider. Remember that life is short, and we must all navigate its challenges together. We all serve the same God who wants us to be together.
Forgive if you are the one who needs to forgive and say sorry if you are the one who needs to say sorry. Life is short and before you know it, it’s all over. Pray for one another and pray for forgiveness, trusting in God to heal your wounds. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in and through you, enabling reconciliation to occur.
My Family Is Falling Apart
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for families. Lord, sometimes we fail to understand one another, and misunderstandings creep in, but we ask that you please investigate our hearts and give us the strength to do what needs to be done. Lord, please guide us on the right paths too. Amen.
Challenge: Say sorry if you were wrong or forgive and persuade others to do the same. Also talk to God and put your trust in Him, because He knows every heart and makes us whole again.
