📖 Micah 7:8 “For though I fall, I will rise again.”
Failures make you feel like a car with a flat tyre! Can you remember such experiences over the past year? The end of the year is a good time to stop and look back. I ask myself: What did I learn from my failures? What would I do differently now? How was the Lord with me?
In a world of “quick fixes,” we do not like to dwell on bad experiences. Yet, there is so much I can learn from them about myself, others, and about God. Only when I face adversity will I truly appreciate the successes. I am often closer to God in my lowest moments, because there I discover He has held my hand all along.
📌 The main thing I learn from my failures is that Jesus is there, too!
🙏 Prayer: Thank You, God, for failures because that’s when I see I’m not perfect. When I look back at the places I’ve fallen, I realise it was You who helped me up. Sometimes I just want to stay down, but You reached out and pulled me up again. Thank You for holding my hand and walking with me. Amen.
