For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38–39
Who is God? We know He is our Savior, Protector and our Father. It is what everyone tells us, what we read in the Bible, and what we believe in faith, but how do we make a more personal connection with God?
It’s easier to know who He is while we experience Him in our lives. If you have experienced God’s love somewhere in your life, you can say with certainty that He is loving. We’ve all experienced His love in various ways, but we don’t always realise it.
God is love and love is God. God is in every warm hug of a family member, a stranger’s smile, the love radiating through someone’s eyes and the small deeds done out of love. He is the love we experience and as a Father loves his child God, our heavenly Father, loves us too.

Prayer: Lord, thank you that we can experience Your love. Help us to live it and pass it on to all we encounter. Amen.
