Charity is not just about giving money or material possessions. It is also about showing love and kindness to others in practical ways. As followers of Jesus, we are called to love others as He loves us. This means showing love in action and truth, not just words or speech.
In 1 John 3:18, the Apostle John reminds us that love is not just a feeling or an emotion but an action. When we love others, we show them the love of God. We become the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing hope and healing to those in need.
Let me be inspired by the words of Jesus, who said, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” (Matthew 25:40). Seek to serve others with a heart of love, knowing you are blessed to be a blessing. Let’s do so with humility and compassion as you show love in action.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for the gift of love. Help me show love in action and truth, not just words or speech. Use me to bring hope and healing to those in need and to show them Your love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
