đź“– Hebrews 12:1-2 “…Let us run… keeping our eyes on Jesus…”
Life out there offers so many temptations and can so easily lead you astray – the wrong friends can draw you into dangerous situations; the use of alcohol, drugs, cigarettes or vaping can harm your growing body; AND the pressure to push your personal boundaries for a boy or a girl who asks more of you than is safe to give.
But you, child of God, can run in Jesus’ footsteps. You do not need to look sideways at others. Do not give in to the pressure to try to fit in or be accepted! Keep your eyes on Jesus, because He has planned deep joy for your soul!
đź“Ś Begin and end each day with your eyes fixed on Jesus.
🙏 Prayer: Thank You, Jesus, that You love me. Help me keep my eyes focused on You and not look at others. If I should stray, help me back so that I don not fall further. Keep me on the right path. Amen.
