‘But I see a different law at work in my body – a law that fights against the law which my mind approves of. It makes me a prisoner to the law of sin which is at work in my body. What an unhappy man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is taking me to death? Thanks be to God, who does this through our Lord Jesus Christ! This, then, is my condition: on my own I can serve God’s law only with my mind, while my human nature serves the law of sin.’ – Romans 7:23-25
As teenagers, you may often feel like there’s an inner battle within you, just like the apostle Paul describes in Romans 7:23-25. It’s the constant struggle between doing what is right and giving in to selfish desires.
But take heart; you are not alone in this struggle. Paul’s words remind us that even the most devoted followers of Christ face these battles. The key is not letting sin control you but remembering that Jesus Christ is your rescuer. He offers forgiveness, strength, and the power to overcome.
Being part of the body of Christ means you are never alone. Lean on your fellow believers for support and encouragement. Together, you can serve the Law of God with your minds and resist the law of sin. Let the love of Christ and the fellowship of believers empower you to live a life pleasing to God.
Lifes Inner Battle

Challenge: Reach out to a fellow teenager in your church or community today. Share your struggles and encourage each other to resist sin. Pray together for strength and guidance, knowing that you are part of the body of Christ, supporting and lifting each other up in faith.
