Let go

You don’t have to carry everything with you into the next half of this year. Imagine that you are carrying a backpack on a hiking adventure. As you walk, you pick up different items that catch your attention in the wilderness. The stopping point (the holiday) gives you the opportunity to sit and pack out the contents of your heavy backpack.

Now that everything is laid out for you to see, there’s something important to realize. Just like how trees let go of their leaves this time of year; you can let some of these things go. You don’t have to carry it with you. You can leave it behind. 

🍂 Identify 3 things to let go of:

1. One moment that made you emotional. Forgive them. Give it to Jesus. Forget.
2. A person who upset you or was mean. Breathe out. Release. Let them be.
3. That mistake you made or the way you let yourself down. It’s over. Forgive yourself.

Jesus is strong enough to carry all those heavy things on your behalf. Remember that you get to decide what you carry into the second half of 2026.
