Jesus came for you

💭 Reflect
Jesus came to earth centuries ago because He knew how much His children needed Him. You are one of His children, and that is why He also came for you. Do you hear Jesus’ invitation when He calls you and says: “Follow Me, I am the faithful light who wants to lead you in the right direction”?

📖 John 1:9
“The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.”

• Do you see how Jesus shines His light on every dark place in your life?
• Is there perhaps a friend who needs to hear that Jesus also came for him/her?

Lord Jesus, thank You that You came to _____ also for _____. You are the _____ of my life. Help me to _____ see this. Amen.

📢 Identity statement
Say it out loud: “I am why Jesus came.”

🎨 Respond
Write and decorate the following words on a piece of paper. Stick it above your bed:
“Even if I were the only person on earth, Jesus would still have come to let His light shine in my life.”

Take a photo of what you have written above and post it on your Instagram or WhatsApp story/status.

👥 People
You now know that Jesus came especially for you. There are many of your friends who need to hear this. Go and tell them.
