Do you recall the Nissan commercial with the memorable line, “Life’s a journey; enjoy the ride!” Your integrity will be a vigilant protector, preserving you on your life’s journey.
Integrity encompasses qualities such as honesty, transparency, and justice. It entails recognising one’s obligations and fulfilling them, both when alone and within a community. Although it may not always be the easiest course of action, it is invariably worthwhile. This represents society’s perspective on integrity but extends far beyond these boundaries.
True integrity is deeply rooted in God’s principles and values. But why is this the case? God is the ultimate source of what is righteous and faithful. When we believe that God is our Creator, we must also acknowledge that He designed us to live by His standards and truths.
The initial step towards a life of integrity lies in placing our faith in God’s word. Today, decide upon the principles you wish to live by and commit to living with integrity.
