Have you ever felt like you have to keep up with the Joneses? You know what I mean by trying to fit in by doing, buying, saying, or pretending to be someone you’re not. All this “keeping up” is in fact cheating yourself out of real life.
But do you need to keep up with the Joneses? If I look at the truth in the Bible, I see that it is far better for me to walk with integrity. What does it mean to walk with integrity?
It’s being genuine and authentic, every day being the same person. It is someone who does what they say and does not say what they would do. Letting the world see your relationship with God and not being ashamed or embarrassed about it. It’s living a life God intended for you to live. A life of virtues like honesty, courage, and perseverance. Don’t let a fool with pretty words cheat you out of a fulfilled life.
Integrity Over Foolishness
Prayer: Father God, help me walk in integrity to glorify Your Name. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
