📖 John 11:35 “Jesus wept.”
Jesus cried about His friend Lazarus. He showed compassion to the family while He still kept hope before His eyes. If even Jesus could cry, even though He knew the Father’s will – that surely makes your emotions okay as well?
Everywhere around us, big and small events are happening, each with a different effect. Some people get angry, others get sad, and many stay quiet about the same situation. Emotions form part of every aspect of every day, it is completely normal. But emotions don’t have to control your life.Â
📌 Experience and identify your own unique reactions and emotions, without letting them control you.Â
🙏 Prayer: Thank You Lord, for making me unique. Thank You for giving me the freedom to carry my emotions openly, just like Jesus did. Help me to understand them and use it for the good. Amen.Â
🔥 Challenge: Cry when you want to cry, laugh when you want to laugh – experience your emotions to the full. Dig deep in your heart about the things that make you angry or make you smile, you just might find more freedom in that truth.
