2 Corinthians 4:16
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
Nowadays, when we scroll through instagram, we often see how people post about all kinds of injustices in the world. Injustices are all bad things people do to others in the world around us, this happens when people are treated badly and are oppressed.
It’s easy for us to become discouraged and believe that the world will never change. To some extent we also experience injustice in our own lives, and it really hurts. But one thing we can’t do is to accept injustices. We were never made for injustices, but rather to experience God’s love.
God’s plan is to make us new every day despite the injustices of the world. Our hurt does not bring joy to God. He longs to be close to us and to walk daily with us on the ways of our life. Because God loves us so much, He will never leave us on our own. And as we go through life with Him, He turns our hurt around and He gives us opportunities to transform the hurt around us.
How do we fight injustice? With love
Prayer: Thank you, Lord, that you are always with us. Lord, as I see injustices all around me, help me not to become discouraged. Please take me by the hand to experience your love like new every day and show me how to give it to everyone who is hurting around me.
