How can you tell one kind of tree from another? 🍎 By its fruit! The same is true for people. 2 Cor 12 is a treasure chest, full of great worth! As we continue on in this chapter, it makes more sense little by little. Remember that we covered how the church in Corinth didn’t like Paul very much? They preferred the impressive, charismatic leaders that appeared to have it all.
👓 Open your Bible or app to 2 Cor 12 & read verses 11-15.
📖 Verse 12: “When I was with you, I certainly gave you proof that I am an apostle. For I patiently did many signs and wonders and miracles among you.”
💡 What stands out for you?
1: You can tell who someone really is by their actions. Like an apple tree bears apples.
2: There are certain signs (proof) evident where God is present – and He lives in His people through His Holy Spirit. He lives in YOU!
3: The Fruit of the Spirit & Gifts of the Spirit will flow out of you if you stay close to God.
