Hope

📖 Hebrews 11:1 – “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” 

We can hope for a bright sunny day tomorrow so that our big sports match won’t be stopped by rain, we can hope that our mom and dad won’t fight again tonight, we can hope for better marks – but these are only shallow hopes. Our hope must be grounded in the correct foundation. That’s where faith comes in. We must have hope in God because we know His character. He is a promise-keeper. His ways are higher than our own, yet He cares very much about every detail of our lives.

❣️ When you hope for something, you must hope with the knowledge that it will happen if it is within the will of God. 

🙏 Prayer: Lord, thank You that I know that You are in control of my life. I know that You will finish what You started. I am praying that Your Kingdom will come into my life. Teach me to put my hope in You, and not in what happens around me.  Amen.
