All of us will have to face the test of patience at one or another time in our lives, but believe me when I say that you are not alone. We are sometimes eager to jump in and react to our emotions when that is actually the wrong thing. We need to pray and wait because when God says, “GO!” you will be blessed beyond measure.
The waiting season is there for you to grow stronger and closer to Jesus. Patience in your faith will help you know and do the right thing on the right time, but if you are focused on what you want, you will miss the growth in your waiting season. Faith is not about the destination but the journey. Trust God’s journey for you. Trust God’s timing for your life.
He Knows Best
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I tend to get impatient and frustrated in a season of waiting. Will You please provide me with the courage to trust Your timing? Help me to stay focused on You rather than the destination. Thank You for being so patient with me. I love You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge: Take a scripture that you know motivates you and quote it every day. When you feel frustrated, remind yourself through scripture that GOD knows best. (Romans 8:28).
