‘Who says that you are any better than other people? What do you have that wasn’t given to you? If you were given what you have, why are you bragging as if it weren’t a gift?’ – 1 Corinthians 4:7
Imagine this scenario, I hand you a gift, yet you wonder why I would do that because I am a stranger and it is not your birthday, nor did you do something right that should be praised. Now you wonder, why would I do that? The answer is JUST TAKE IT.
THAT is how GOD works.
He stands before you and wants you to TAKE the GIFT of grace. It is not something you can earn, nor is it only given on special occasions. It is at your doorstep, and you only need to make the decision to take it.
Don’t try to explain it rationally because you cannot explain GOD, nor can HIS grace be explained realistically. All you need to know is that it is a gift opened by your faith. You cannot extend grace without religion or belief without grace.
It is almost like breathing: the ability to breathe in and breathe out is equally important. You need the one with the other.
Grace Is A Gift
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me accept the gift of grace. Help me love as You do and show grace towards other people like You have shown me grace. I love You so much, and I thank You for everything in my life because I am blessed only by grace and through faith. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge: Give someone (a stranger) a small gift; tell them that this is how God’s grace works, without explanation or reason, it is just a gift. When you do this, you will realize the impact of grace on people’s lives and understand this concept better.
