‘John spoke about him. He cried out, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘He comes after me, but he is greater than I am, because he existed before I was born.’” Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another.’ – John 1:15-16
This verse is so significant because we get to know GOD personally. We get to experience grace, because of HIS fullness, because of HIS character. It is so evident that grace is part of God’s character. Why do I say that you may ask?
Well, it’s like this, GOD possesses fulness, right? This fullness consists of love, and this love had the desire to show us grace, and GOD did show us grace. Despite all our sinful nature, He still chose to forgive and treat us with love.
It is essential to know we are created in GOD’s image; because of that, we also possess the character of grace; it is also part of our story. We will also land in situations where we need to show grace. We must love and not treat someone differently because of their background or mistakes.
Offer the gift of grace to someone, and you will see lives changed and transformed. Why? Because we try to become the best versions of ourselves, and that version is the version in which we were created in HIS image. We are His image bearer. So, carry that image of grace with you. Every single day.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for showing grace toward me every day. Will You please help me become the best version of myself by realizing I was made in Your image? Make me aware of it each and every day. Will You please unlock the potential of grace within me? I love You so much. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Challenge: Set the alarm 3 times a day; when that alarm goes off, remind yourself of these words by SPEAKING them out loud…”I am the image bearer of grace,” “I am loved by GOD,” and “I am enough.”
