We often question God’s Word. How often have you asked: “Is the Old Testament still relevant in today’s life?” or “The Bible was written so many years ago and life today is very different. Should I still believe it?”
We question God’s Word and His character because we don’t know Him well enough. When we genuinely know Him, we will realise that He is omniscient. He knows the past, the present and the future. He is the total magnitude of everything, and when He speaks it bears all the power of Who He is.
His Word is the truth. Yes, thousands of years have come and gone since the Bible was written, but God already knew the future. You were already part of His plan. He knew what problems we were going to have today. He is omniscient. That is why He made His Word steadfast. And so today we can still believe what is written in the Bible.
We sometimes don’t want to listen to what our parents tell us because ‘How can they possibly understand what we’re going through?’ Then to realise after a few years that they were telling the truth and wanted to help you. Our Heavenly Father is likewise. He will always speak the truth because He loves us, and we are His children. We can trust Him because His Word always remains the same.

God’s Word Is The Truth
Prayer: Father, I am sorry that I do not always believe Your Word. I want to get to know You and Your Word better so that I can cling to Your Word in all circumstances. Thank you for being omniscient and reliable. Amen.
