The best measurement for our closeness to God, is the way that we respond when things go well. Even when Mary could get arrogant, believing that she was amazing, and that was why God was so good to her, she didn’t. No, her reaction was to praise God with every single part of her. One of the big things about being a Christian is that we know we can’t do it on our own. We know we need God.

🙏 Prayer: Lord, when was the last time I told You how amazing You are? I want to tell You today that You are the best. You are good and will always be that way. Amen.
