Psalm 91:14-15
14 The Lord says, “Whoever loves me, I will save.
I will protect those who know me.
15 They will call to me, and I will answer them.
I will be with them in trouble;
I will rescue them and honor them.
People place so much emphasis on God’s love that some are tempted to believe that we can do whatever we want, because God loves us. And to some extent it is true, but it’s not the kind of attitude someone who loves God has.
Let us take a journey with God. Let’s learn who God is. Let’s rely on God. Let’s love God. These are the kinds of things that bring us closer to God’s good will for our lives. We should not think that God does not care because He cares a lot and He is super protective about the people who love Him.
You can ask God to help you at any time! God is not like that one friend who leaves you on the blue tick. We have a way day to talk to God through prayer 24/7. So if God is for us, who can be against us?
God wants to help you in your crisis!
Prayer: Heavenly God, thank You for loving me. And I want to show that I love You too. As I take this journey with You in my life, I know you will protect me as I put my trust in You! … Amen.
Challenge: Sometimes God uses other people to help out in a crisis. Is there anyone you know who is in a crisis? See if there is a way to help them.
