‘Righteous people cry out. The Lord hears and rescues them from all their troubles.’ – Psalms 34:17
Are you overwhelmed by an avalanche of work and tasks, struggling to find enough time in the day? Do you feel isolated and rejected, as if the world has turned its back on you? Perhaps you have recently lost someone dear to your heart. All these experiences can lead to suffering, and it may seem like no one truly understands your pain. But here’s the incredible truth: God sees it all!
Even King Jehoshaphat of Jerusalem faced a seemingly impossible challenge. Three powerful nations stood against his tiny kingdom. In his desperation, Jehoshaphat turned to God for help and wisdom. The Lord responded by assuring him that He would fight the battle on his behalf. Jehoshaphat and his people praised and worshipped God as they marched toward the battlefield. Miraculously, before they even arrived, the enemy nations began to fight amongst themselves. When Jehoshaphat and his army reached the scene, all three nations were defeated. How magnificent is our Lord!
Just as God saw Jehoshaphat’s suffering, He sees yours too. He knows every detail of your life and eagerly awaits your call for help and deliverance. God doesn’t want us to passively endure our problems; He wants us to take action. We must do what we can but leave the impossible to Him. He desires to be our first and ultimate Savior. We can always rely on Him when we love God and follow His word.
