“And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.” – JOEL 2:28
The Bible is filled with stories where people had dreams with important meanings, for example, Joseph dreamed about wheat bowing down to him when he was younger. Years later, after so many things had happened to him, he realised the symbolic meaning when his brothers sold him and bowed to him during the great famine.
Everywhere in the Bible, we read about God revealing His plans to those close to Him, yet we struggle to see in our lives how God speaks to us.
Not all dreams have a significant meaning, but it’s instantly recognisable when something is from God. Sometimes we have dreams that give us some light on the indescribable things God has for us in the future. Sometimes we dream of a deceased loved one. It comforts us after a sudden death.
God uses dreams to talk to us in a special way!

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for answering our prayers and blessing us with wonderful revelations. Help us to cling to our dreams and always put You first. Amen.
Challenge: Try to analyse your dreams next time and if you are struggling, pray to God for help instead of writing off your dreams as unimportant.
