We have all prayed and asked God for something specific. It then happened that you got into a horrible situation and thought you were alone. You felt you had prayed for an answer, but you were left without a way out of a situation you didn’t want to be in.
We easily forget that God speaks through circumstances because we expect His answer to our prayers in words. When was the last time you simply stood still and watched?
In my personal experience regarding this, I asked God who the people in my life were who pretended to care about me but didn’t even think twice about me. A month later my family and I were in a car accident. Although the recovery process felt like hell and the fact that this also happened during the June exam didn’t help much, I was grateful to see who really stayed in my life caring about me, as the others simply looked away.
God must show us because sometimes it is difficult to hear. No matter how difficult the situation is, remember that God holds your hand. Be aware of your circumstances and see how God speaks to you through it.
God Speaks Through Circumstances
Prayer: Lord, thank you for picking us up every time we fall and for being with us, even if things are very bad. Lord, help us to see how You speak in every moment and every situation and forgive us when we don’t notice it. Amen.
