Have you ever driven past a field with a lot of flowers or sunflowers? It feels like it brings so much peace. There is something about flowers that naturally grabs our attention: God took His time to put so much colour into our world.
If God takes so much time to make flowers that make our world so beautiful, imagine just how beautifully he created us too. Jesus tells the people that God cares so much more for them than the flowers that are so beautiful.
To us it is so wonderful because we know that God cares for us. And He will continue to care for us – even though we may not see how wonderfully He created us. We do not have to worry about what we look like or what we have because God makes our lives beautiful.
God makes our lives beautiful.
Prayer: Lord, I know I struggle at times to believe that you made me more beautiful than the flowers I see around me. I pray that my eyes will be open to see how you care for me every day. Don’t let me miss it. I want to appreciate your beauty in my world and in my life… Amen.
Challenge: See if you can find a flower today, search for the prettiest one you can find. You are more beautiful and so much more valuable to God!
