‘Remember that the Lord your God is the only God and that he is faithful. He will keep his covenant and show his constant love to a thousand generations of those who love him and obey his commands,’ – Deuteronomy 7:9
Do you ever feel like you can’t trust anyone? Like people let you down or break their promises? It can be hard to rely on someone when they’ve disappointed you. But there is someone you can always count on – God. In Deuteronomy 7:9, we read that “the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.”
God’s faithfulness means that He always keeps His promises. He never forgets about us or abandons us. He is always there, ready to help and guide us through life’s challenges. Even when we don’t understand what’s going on or why things are happening the way they are, we can trust that God is in control and working everything out for our good.
The ultimate example of God’s faithfulness is seen in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. God promised to send a Savior, and He kept that promise by sending His Son to die for you on the cross. You have eternal life and forgiveness of your sins through His death and resurrection.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for Your faithfulness. Please help me to trust You completely and to follow Your lead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Challenge: Today, think about God’s promise to you in His Word. Thank Him for His faithfulness in keeping His promises. Ask Him to help you trust Him more completely, even when things don’t make sense.
