📖 Jeremiah 29:11-12 “I know the plans I have in mind for you, declares the LORD; they are plans for peace, not disaster, to give you a future filled with hope. When you call me and come and pray to me, I will listen to you.”

When we go through tough times, it’s easy to think that God has forgotten us, or that He just doesn’t care anymore. This verse reminds us that not only does God never leave us, but that He is always busy with our lives. He is busy adding beautiful and good things to our lives (maybe not as quickly as we’d like!). The only way to keep ourselves calm is through prayer.  

❣️ There isn’t a single moment in any day where God isn’t with us – we just may not know where to look. 

🙏 Prayer: God, things aren’t always going as well as I would like, and I don’t always know how to feel about that. Please help me to stand firm in my trust in You, and help me to remember daily all the ways that You have shown Your love for me. Amen.
