📖 Lamentations 3:23-24 “Great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”
Waiting is very difficult. We are often impatient and not even willing to wait for a WhatsApp “blue tick”. How often do you check to see if your message has been read? You are waiting for an answer. Imagine you are waiting for an Uber, taxi, or a lift with someone. You are feeling a little anxious — what if they do not come?
That is why God’s faithfulness is so amazing. He always shows up. Can you think of anyone better to wait for and search for than the Lord? The Lord is just as good and faithful to you today as He was to everyone we read about in the Bible.

🙏 Prayer: Oh Lord thank You that I can depend on Your goodness. Help me to seek Your will when I get impatient and when I want to do my own thing. I’m willing to wait on You and to seek Your way. You are always faithful and always good. Amen.
🔥 Challenge: What do you need to do to trust in God’s goodness, to wait on Him, and to keep seeking Him? Believe in His goodness by imagining the “best case scenario” rather than expecting the worst. Wait on Him by sitting still in quiet prayer. Seek Him in the detail of every day.
