From Rejected To Excepted

‘We despised him and rejected him; he endured suffering and pain. No one would even look at him— we ignored him as if he were nothing.’ – Isaiah 53:3

Have you ever felt rejected? Maybe you tried out for a team and didn’t make it or asked someone out, and they said no. It hurts to be told you’re not good enough or don’t belong somewhere. Humans all want to be accepted and loved for who we are.

But did you know that even Jesus Christ, who is so important to many people, experienced rejection? He was unfairly accused of a crime and hung on a cross to die. It must have been so painful and lonely for Him.

But He did it for us, to take a stand for us.

The good news is that God will never reject you. He loves you just as you are, flaws and all. You can always turn to Him for comfort and acceptance. When you give your heart to God, you become part of His family, and that is where you truly belong.

From Rejected To Excepted

Prayer: Dear God. Thank you for not rejecting me in a world full of rejection. Thank you for keeping Your arms open for me. For I know that my name is written in the palm of your Hand. And that is where I belong. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Challenge: Every time you feel rejected close your eyes, take a deep breath, and say out loud: I am loved by an Almighty God!
