Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family. – Proverbs 18:24
Late nights, too many ghost stories, and far too little sleep while adrenaline is pounding in your blood, what do you do after praying to calm down? Of course, you call your best friend and confide in them, sharing every detail of what’s scaring you.
In the face of relationship problems or difficult times, besides God, you can always count on your friends to be by your side. God has blessed us with the ability to communicate and He created humans to be social beings. He knew life was going to get too hard, so He gave us friends. Friends who keep you on the right track, who care about you and with whom you can share your life.
It’s important to be a good friend to others as well. Remember that God often uses others as instruments to reveal His presence and kindness in our lives. So, friends are worth their weight in gold because God has blessed us with the precious gift of friendship. Remember, your friends listen to your problems day and night, they make you laugh, and they wipe away your tears.
Even if they are sometimes the reason for your sadness, ultimately, we’ll find that one special friend who is irreplaceable!
Friendship Is Worth Gold
