Proverbs 3:5-6 MSG “Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track.”
Can you finish a puzzle by picking up and staring intently at one single piece? Of course not! Yet we often think we have to solve our life’s problems by focusing on each detail alone. When the truth is that we all need to take it puzzle-piece-by-piece, asking questions and awaiting answers from God in a trusting relationship way.
Stress is like a void. It steals away peace, joy, and laughter and only leaves you with sleepless nights of trepidation. We often forget that our loving God knows our struggles and waits for us to turn to Him.
Be still and follow God’s guidance to show you the bigger picture.
Prayer: Thank You Lord, for being steadfast, loving, and patient. Thank You for Your unconditional grace. Help me remember that I am never alone in my worries. Teach me to be still and hear Your voice amid the busyness of life. Amen.
Challenge: Think of 1 thing in your life where you can’t see the big picture. Pray this out loud: “God I give You ______ and will follow Your lead to see it work out.”
