These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”
Do you know what it is to have a community of believers? This is where people come together to grow and mature in faith. When people gather in this community, it is an opportunity to help each other right and show the love of God to others.
Within a community of believers, members hold each other accountable to their values and beliefs and strengthen each other on their spiritual journeys. Everyone cares about each other and strives to support each other practically, emotionally, and spiritually.
In the community, you can’t just do as you want. The community is a team holding one another accountable for staying on track. The group must support, guide, correct, and comfort, just as God does. This is not an easy command, but Jesus shows us how to do it.
Jesus was loyal to His disciples. When one of them was in trouble, He always stood by His friend. Whether it was praying for him, or whether it was to baptise him, he was always there. We should strive to live according to Jesus’s example and do the things He has done on earth

Prayer: Jesus, thank you for making me part of a community of believers, even if I don’t see it every day. I would like to serve those people who are part of my community, like You did. Amen.
Challenge: Make a list of the people who are part of your community. Make a point of getting to each one this week. It could be for a coffee or by just calling the person.
