BECOMING STILL

đź“–Isaiah 30:15 “…In quietness and trust is your strength.”

Life has a lot of pressures. You might feel “less than” when you compare yourself to your friends’ social media; tempted to yell back at your parents when you argue; overwhelmed preparing for exams; pressured to do what friends want you to do; or uncertain about your way forward and your future.

Today’s verse reminds us to find strength through calmly trusting in God rather than relying on external solutions. When we feel overwhelmed, we should stop, breathe, and find true and lasting strength and quiet confidence in Him. As Psalm 46:10 says “Be still, and know that I am God.”

📌 In a world that celebrates “busyness” and “popularity”, remember that God can give you calmness and peace.

🙏 Prayer: Dear Lord God, thank You for Your continual support, and help me to remember to always turn to You when life seems too busy – filled with pressure and uncertainty. I turn to You for guidance and strength to face my daily challenges. In Jesus Name, Amen.

🔥 Challenge: Find a quiet spot and sit still for 10 minutes every day this week. Avoid music or talking, and focus on your breathing and say a simple prayer. Afterwards, write down your thoughts about how this quiet moment built your “strength” against the day’s chaos and challenges.
