Psalm 139:13-14
13 You made my whole being;
you formed me in my mother’s body.
14 I praise you because you made me in an amazing and wonderful way.
What you have done is wonderful.
I know this very well.
Do you believe that you are amazing? God has created you, and me, and every one of us in a special and unique way. We might think that there are things about us that we would like to change, but God didn’t create us to be anything else, he already made us wonderfully.
David really got it; he understood that it was God that created each of us in different, but amazing ways. We have been made also in God’s image. That means that the people all around you, with big/small ears, light/dark skintone, blonde/brown hair are equally unique and share God’s image.
Isn’t it awesome to know that God has put so much thought into every one of us? I hope we can learn to see ourselves and others as God sees us.
God has made you amazingly and wonderfully!
Prayer: Thank you Lord for taking Your time to make me unique and unlike anybody else. Help me to love who I am just as You love who I am.
